The City of Grande Prairie is adding free drop-in opportunities at the Activity and Reception Centre during select existing youth and community drop-in times beginning Tuesday, February 14.

“Council is excited to offer increased access to recreation for residents and visitors with these drop-in times,” says Mayor Jackie Clayton. “The decision to add more free options at the Activity and Reception Centre was made during Budget 2023 deliberations to help minimize financial barriers and provide more opportunities for active lifestyle, in order to support a caring and inclusive community in Grande Prairie.”

Free drop-in will take place four times a week as follows:

·Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. during youth drop-in times

·Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. during toddler drop-in times

·Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. during youth drop-in times

·Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. during community drop-in times
