On June 11, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Fox Creek RCMP received a report that a member of the public has been running with their dog on the air strip near Fox Creek.

The Fox Creek RCMP have been unable to identify this individual and are concerned as this type of behaviour can pose a number of safety risks should any incoming aircraft be landing when someone is on the air strip.

The Fox Creek RCMP would like to remind the public that the Fox Creek Airport air strip is meant for aircraft take offs and landings only. Should persons frequent this area during an aircraft landing or take off, the consequences can be particularly serious, potentially resulting in loss of life.
