The Royal Canadian Legion is hosting the annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Friday, November 11, 2022. The parade will start at 10 am from the Cenotaph on 102 Street and 105 Avenue, marching past the Royal Canadian Legion to City Hall and returning to the Cenotaph.
There will be a service and lunch inside the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 at noon, followed by games and dinner. All ages are welcome to attend.
Road closures will start at 8:30 and will end near 11:30 am. Service groups marching in the parade will line up on 102 Street and into the School District 60 Office rear parking lot. Spectators are encouraged to view the parade along 105 Avenue and 100 Street.
Additionally, BC Transit is offering free modified transit services on Remembrance Day.
