Award-winning duo for King & Country recently joined forces with Melodic Caring Project to put on a special show for kids in hospital care over the holidays.

On Dec. 22, the band live-streamed their concert from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, giving shout-outs to nine special fans across the U.S.

“Something really beautiful happened at the show. They couldn’t be there in person with us, so we were honoured to stream the show to them to send them some love and encouragement,” said for King & Country.

Warrior Logan from Phoenix watched the show with his family from his hospital room.

"Thank you so much for coordinating with such an amazing band. They gave a shoutout to Logan and he kept chanting, ‘I won! I won! I won!’ Cutest thing ever…what a special Christmas. Thank you. We love you guys.”

Laney and her parents said this has been an incredibly frightening year for their family, and this was a special treat.

"We’ve watched our little girl experience pain, fear, countless medical tests, a biopsy, and experimental treatments. These live streams give us something special to look forward to. Thank you so much for a wonderful show. It was amazing and filled with so much joy and positive, caring energy! Laney absolutely loved it, and it was such a gift to see her so proud to hear her name from the stage!”
