Fire In Creekside Neighbourhood Destroys Home

On August 6, at approximately 6:30pm, the Grande Prairie Fire Department was called to a fire in the Creekside Neighbourhood. On arrival, a large amount of flames driven by strong winds were found and efforts were immediately made to limit the fire to one home. One other nearby home and some vehicles were damaged but the fire was quickly brought under control.

There were no injuries during this incident, however the occupants were displaced.

The fire is currently being investigated and all enquiries can be made to the Grande Prairie Fire Department investigator.
