Actress Candace Cameron Bure took advantage of a recent award win to highlight the importance of faith and family to millions of kids. 

The cast of Fuller House was awarded the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Favourite Funny TV Show on Saturday, March 23.

Cameron Bure, who plays DJ Tanner in the spinoff of the 80s classic Full House, told the audience that, "Family sticks together no matter what."

The actress, who is married to retired NHL star Valeri Bure, is very open about her Christian faith. She's also vocal in her beliefs of making a marriage work.

Cameron Bure posted the acceptance speech to her social media later on Saturday evening.

In closing the speech she said that families also take time to celebrate in the good times.
