The Salvation Army Kettle campaign is currently at over 90% of it's goal.

Captain Peter Kim of the Salvation Army shared an update on the campaign.

"We are so grateful for the community giving us 493,159 as of December 27th. We are so grateful for that."

They are short of their goal this year, however by about $32,000. They are accepting donations for the Christmas campaign until the second week of January. Donations can be made online at SalvationArmyGP.ca.

If you donate by tomorrow, December 31st, you will receive a tax receipt for 2019.

All Kettle donations stay local to help vulnerable families all year long through The Salvation Army’s Community & Family Services. Hot meal programs, clothing, Food Bank services, Christmas assistance, and much more.
