The Philip J. Dinosaur Museum has announced their re-opening on July 1. 

“We’re excited to be able to resume operations with some adjustments to focus on safety and the comfort of all of our guests through measures including social distancing practices,” says Executive Director Linden Roberts. “Our intent is to ensure an excellent visitor experience as visitors return to the museum.” 

The museum hours will  be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Visitors are asked to purchase a timed ticket and plan their visit online at www.dinomuseum.ca

The popular bonebed tours, Palaeontologist for a Day and summer camps are all back with some changes to address COVID-19 protocols. There’s also the opportunity to sign up for lab tours to watch the fish and Peanut the Snake being fed. 

Summer camps were redesigned with COVID-19 in mind. These are held outdoors and are reduced to 10 participants per camp. Kits will be delivered to campers unable to participate in person or who can’t continue due to illness. 

They’re divide into age groups of 4-6, 7-10 and 10 to 13.
