In the last 24 hours, Alberta has completed 9,711 COVID-19 tests and identified 113 new cases of the virus. There’s been 199 more recoveries, for a total of 13,557. There are now 1,494 active cases. 

Five more Albertans have died, for a total of 253. Currently, 43 Albertans are in the hospital with COVID-19, with seven of these in intensive care. 

Two of the deaths reported today were in Mackenzie County. They also have eight new cases and seven people have recovered. 

In Grande Prairie, one more person has recovered, while there’s been no change in the County. 

Clear Hills County, the MD of Fairview and the MD of Spirit River have each had one recovery as well. The MD of Peace has four new cases and one recovery.
