The County of Grande Prairie will open additional municipal buildings next week. 

The public is still encouraged to continue to contact the County by phone or online, including online bill payments, applications and more.  

The Administration, Community Services and Public Works buildings will re-open to the public on Monday, June 22; and the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Office will re-open to the public on Monday, June 29. 

Guidelines will be in place including limiting front reception areas to five visitors at a time in the Administration and Public Works buildings, four visitors at the FCSS Office, and three visitors at the Community Services Building. Other hygiene protocols include hand sanitizer for visitors, plexiglass shields for staff, and enhanced cleaning.  

La Glace and Valhalla community libraries will also re-open to the public on June 22 with several safety measures in place, while the Elmworth Community Library will re-open later this summer following the completion of renovations. Home Support Services will resume on June 29. County residents can schedule an assessment for by contacting Dale Bond, Home Support Coordinator at dbond@countygp.ab.ca or at 780-532-9727.  

Following the Province’s decision on campgrounds, County Campgrounds are at full capacity for individual and group campsites reservations. Washroom and shower facilities are also open at applicable campgrounds. Updated information for visitors is available at Countygp.ab.ca/campgrounds.
