As of Friday, April 16, County offices remain closed due to COVID-19 cases among staff.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to continue to connect with the County 24/7 online or by calling 780-532-9722 during business hours.

“I know the past year has been difficult. We need to stick it out just a little bit longer and follow provincial public health measures for the wellbeing of our communities,” said Reeve Leanne Beaupre. “Please continue to support each other and reach out to connect to your neighbours. We will get through this together.”

On March 30, the Administration and Public Works buildings were closed to the public following confirmed cases of COVID-19. The buildings remain closed, with small-volume offices open by-appointment and for payments, with public health guidelines in place.

The County’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Plan is still in place to ensure a thorough response. Administration continues to work with Alberta Health Services (AHS) to assist with contract tracing.

The buildings will reopen when it is deemed safe to do so.
