County of Grande Prairie offices have re-opened to the public for payments and by-appointment for other services.

While the public is encouraged to continue to do business with the County through online services, available 24/7 by visiting www.countygp.ab.ca, those with limited online access can visit in-person to make payments. For questions or to request an appointment to meet with County staff beyond making a payment, the public can contact 780-532-9722 during business hours.

Guidelines are in place for the health and safety of visitors and staff, including the requirement for face masks and physical distancing, hand sanitizer, physical barriers for staff and continued enhanced cleaning. There are also limits to the number of visitors allowed in each reception area at one time, including five in the Administration and Public Works buildings, four at the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Office and three at the Community Services Building. Individuals with an appointment, going beyond the reception area, will be required to complete a health screening, including temperature and pulse rate measurements.

On March 30, the Administration and Public Works buildings were closed to the public following confirmed cases of COVID-19 among staff. With the execution of the County’s Rapid Response Plan ensuring a thorough response, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has deemed the building safe to re-open.
