The County of Grande Prairie will host its 10th annual open houses June 20, 22 and 23. 

“We are pleased to see the return of County Open House events following a two-year hiatus,” says Reeve Leanne Beaupre. “These events are a highlight of our year and provide opportunities to meet face-to-face with residents. We look forward to socializing, sharing information and receiving feedback on County initiatives, programs, and services.” 

Residents of all ages are welcome to attend the events which include a complimentary barbecue (while supplies last) and a wealth of information from County departments. This year’s Open Houses will run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations: 

  • Monday, June 20 – Demmitt Cultural Society Hall 
    Location: On Range Road 132 off Highway 43, 27 km west of Hythe 
     
  • Wednesday, June 22 – Webster Community Hall 
    Location: On Range Road 53 off Highway 2, Webster 
     
  • Thursday, June 23 – Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, with free museum access 
    Location: 9301-112 Avenue, Wembley
