The latest numbers from the province show 158 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta and 215 recoveries. 

There’s now 1,462 active cases and 15,467 recoveries. There’s one less hospitalization than yesterday and one more person in intensive care. Right now, 58 people are in the hospital with COVID-19, with 14 of these in intensive care.  

There was one new death at the Foothills Medical Centre, bringing the provincial total to 261.  

Locally, one case was removed from the City of Grande Prairie’s case count, leaving five active cases and 90 total recoveries. In the County, one more person has recovered and nine active cases remain, with 49 recoveries.  

County of Northern Lights saw a significant number of recoveries today, with 14 reported, leaving six active now. The MD of Greenview had one recovery. Mackenzie County had two new cases reported and 10 people recover. The MD of Peace and Northern Sunrise County each had a case removed.
