The County Regional Fire Services responded to a large animal rescue call Saturday.
Members from Hythe, LaGlace stations along with members of the Wembley Fire Department responded to an ice rescue for a cow in a stream near the Beaverlodge River.
Crews planned a water rescue using the Large Animal Rescue Trailer housed at the LaGlace Station.
The animal was safely removed from the water and returned to the owners.
