Community Group Funding applications for the 2024-2025 funding cycle are being accepted until April 30, 2023.

The funding is available for programs and services that benefit the community and its residents.

“Council looks forward to the City partnering with community groups and agencies that make a positive impact on our residents through various programs and services,” says Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “Community Group Funding is an important grant to ensure the continued operation of programs and services that contribute to improved quality of life, economic growth and an inclusive and caring community for our residents.”

Recommendations for funding allocation are based on community need and a community group’s ability to respond to that need. Grants are provided on a one-year or two-year cycle beginning in 2024.
