Council has discontinued the Municipal Government Board Appeal of the Correction Line West Area Structure Plan.

“At our November 5, 2018 City of Grande Prairie Council meeting, Council passed a motion to discontinue the Municipal Government Board Appeal of the Correction Line West Area Structure Plan. In the coming year, the City and County will begin developing updated land use planning and delivery of service agreements as required by provincial legislation. Getting to the work of an updated Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) and the development of an Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) is in the best interest of our region. Discontinuing this appeal allows us to focus our energy on delivering a comprehensive framework for the delivery and funding of services that benefits all our residents.”
