Starting in the spring, the City and County of Grande Prairie are introducing an electronic procurement platform.

Any bids posted for opportunities in the City will require electronic submissions through the electronic procurement platform on March 2 and in the County on April 6.

Suppliers can create an account with the City and/or the County on the electronic procurement platform to receive notifications, register for and submit digital proposals for goods and services being purchased by the City or County, as well as those posted by hundreds of other municipalities and public organizations.

On the new platform, suppliers will have access to up to 10 company contacts with full access, unlimited bid document downloads and previews, unlimited electronic bid submissions, automated bid notification emails, automated notifications of addenda and schedule changes, bid results and the supplier support portal.

The City of Grande Prairie and County of Grande Prairie are hosting a joint supplier information session for any suppliers interested in learning more about this process change.

The information session takes place on Tuesday, February 25 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Rotary Community Room in the Montrose Cultural Centre. Registration is required for the session and can be completed online or by calling 780-538-0353.
