China's churches are struggling to remain open after the recent outbreak.

The Catholic Register says several churches in three provinces have suspended their services due to concerns over the Coronavirus spreading. According to the Chinese National Health Commission, 1,975 people across 30 provinces have contracted the virus.

Churches in China are already facing difficulties remaining open due to China's restrictions on Christians and Bibles. Added restrictions to residents because of the outbreak are making attending church services more difficult. China is in spot 23 on the Open Doors Watch List.

Cities are taking extra precautions against the spread of the virus. Wuhan has halted their public transport and other cities are asking residents to restrict their time in public. These precautions are adding to the difficulty of citizens to attend their church services.

Most of the registered churches are still in service but some, such as Ningbo Diocese, are altering their communion practices
