At approximately 1120 a.m. on Saturday, December 24th, the County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service Teepee Creek, Bezanson, and Clairmont Stations along with the Sexsmith and Wembley Fire Departments were dispatched to a structure fire on Township Road 740 near Teepee Creek.
On arrival fire crews found heavy smoke coming from a manufactured home. Firefighters made entry into the structure to combat the fire and contained it to the residence.
The fire is under investigation, and no one has been injured as a result of the fire.
Firefighters were able to salvage some belongings from the residence including Christmas presents.
