The Kansas Chiefs CEO and several players are thanking God after their 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

After a 50-year drought, the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their Sunday victory.

"I want to thank the Lord for blessing us with all these incredible people to bring this trophy home," CBN reports that Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt says after the win. Hunt is a vocal Christian, coming to God as a child.

Safety Tyrann Mathieu tweeted "Thinking about our past, man GOD is good." Mathieu has not been overly been vocal about his beliefs in the past, but the win appears to have brought God to mind for the player.

"I’m looking up to Jesus, my Savior, from whom all good things come, and by faith, I am in His Holy presence. In His presence is where I experience the greatest joy in life, whether it’s in good times or in bad," offensive line Stefen Wisniewski, an outspoken Christian says.
