The Ark is a non-denominational Christian centre supported by churches, community organizations, corporations, and individuals within the Dawson Creek and the Peace River Region.
Their mandate is to create an exciting, positive and affordable environment where all kids are valued and can participate in the various activities they provide, including ball hockey leagues, basketball hoops, an ice rink, skateboard ramps, table games and a snack bar.
On Friday’s The Ark hosts a Kids Cafe in the mornings for little ones and their parents and a youth drop in each Friday, from 7pm-9pm.
The Ark’s trained team of volunteer staff help to provide encouragement, mentorship, and support for youth during this influential time in their lives with a Christian value and perspective.
