Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world, with an estimated 90,000 Canadians living with the disease. On average, 12 Canadians are diagnosed with MS every day. Most people are diagnosed with MS between the ages of 20 and 49 and the unpredictable effects of the disease will last for the rest of their lives.

MS Canada provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease. They have a membership of over 7,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services.

Since 2008, A&W have partnered with MS Canada and this August will be the 15th anniversary of Burgers to Beat MS.
