This month's Charity Corner is Bandaged Paws

Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue is a primarily volunteer run, registered charitable organization and non-profit in Grande Prairie.  Their focus is to help injured, homeless, abandoned, or otherwise in need animals find permanent and loving homes.  They focus on dogs and cats from our community as well as northern Alberta and surrounding areas.

They receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of public donations and fundraising efforts. Most of the animals are in foster care but they do have a safe haven facility that has restricted public access for the health and safety of our animals.

They strive to help as many animals as possible and better the community in the process by encouraging positive interactions between humans and animals and promoting responsible ownership including spay/neuter, vaccinating and microchipping.
