The report provides an overview of how the organization worked to support the Canadian cereals value chain.

Board chair Jennifer Marchand says in 2022, Cereals Canada celebrated 50 years of providing both technical services to both domestic and international customers.

"Collaboration and connections have been pivotal to our success in the past year, and throughout the history of our organization."

In the 2022 growing season, Canadian farmers planted over 36 million acres of common wheat, durum, barley, and oats, meeting domestic and export demands. 

Over the past two years, the organization has completed 81 programs, webinars, missions, and technical exchanges involving 3,089 participants from 69 countries.  

Dean Dias, the chief executive officer of Cereals Canada says our facilities are one of a kind in Canada, with key technical experts being able to provide unbiased and accurate information to existing and potential customers.

"As the number one promoters of Canadian wheat, Cereals Canada will continue to build on Canada’s position as a reliable, nutritious, and sustainable supplier of high-quality cereal grains."
