With the public health restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 situation, churches are having to be creative this year in how they remember Jesus' death and celebrate his resurrection.

Here's what some local churches are doing:

Victory Church invites people to join them Friday evening online at 7:00 as they come together for a special Good Friday service. On Sunday, church is hosted live on their Facebook page at 10:15 am.

GPAC will be hosting their Good Friday and Easter Sunday services live on YouTube at 10 am. In Friday's service they'll be taking communion together. Grab some bread and juice (or whatever you have on hand) before you tune in to worship.

Christian Fellowship Assembly's Sunday service will be live-streamed at 10 am at cfachurch.ca. This week, they've been sharing passion week daily devotionals on their YouTube channel.

Grande Prairie Church of Christ hosts their Easter service at 10 am at gpchurchofchrist.com/praise.

People's Church will stream the Sunday service at 11 am at vimeo.com/showcase/6104478. On Good Friday, they will have communion available for those who wish to come and partake at the church. Personal communion stations will be setup, respecting all of the social regulations in effect. Book a time for you and your family at peoples.churchcenter.com. Visit their website for live-streamed daily encouragement videos as well.
