The community is welcomed to celebrate local history and multiculturalism at the City’s free Heritage Day activities in Muskoseepi Park and the Grande Prairie Museum on July 30, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event showcases cultural dance, live music and live tapestry painting from local artists in the Heritage Village. In Muskoseepi Park, food trucks with special Heritage Day food dishes will be in the park, along with other cultural amenities.

The Heritage Village at the Grande Prairie Museum is featuring Heritage Hunters for the event. Heritage Hunters are historically dressed and mannered villagers who tell stories, lead visitors through scavenger hunts and interact with visitors in a way that is periodically correct.
