Gospel music legend CeCe Winans and songwriter/producer Jason Ingram were the big winners Friday night at the 41st GMA Dove Awards.

Both Winans and Ingram took home four awards, in a ceremony that actually took place Tuesday evening but was kept top-secret until it aired Friday evening on television.

For Winans, the awards included the Gospel Artist of the Year, the second time she's received the honour. She also took home an award alongside Carrie Underwood for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year, in which Winans appeared alongside the country star for 'Great Is Thy Faithfulness.'

The Connections podcast: real life, real faith

"I want to thank all of those who were in the category with me, and all of the artists that are here, the young — and us who are old," Winans said.

"God is faithful to every generation. And I am just honoured to be a part of this industry. I'm honoured to lift up the name of Jesus."

For King & Country took home the top award of Artist of the Year for the second year in a row. They took home two other awards as well for Christmas/Special Event Album of the Year and Longform Video of the Year.

"The power of music changes eternal destinations for people," Luke Smallbone of the brother duo said in his acceptance speech. "Don’t forget that. Make this real to other people. Make this real all over the world. It matters. It counts for something."

We The Kingdom took home two awards for Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Lecrae won Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for his song, 'Deep End.'

KB won Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year with his album His Glory Alone.
