If you're planning on spending anytime in Calgary after Saturday, August 1, make sure you have a supply of masks.

Calgary City Council voted Tuesday, July 21, to make masks mandatory in most public spaces.

That means, on transit or in a taxi.

At the mall or grocery store, or any city owned facility or public indoor space.

The rules don't apply in restaurants and bars.

Those found without a mask on where required could face a $100 fine.
