Alberta Health Services (AHS) has confirmed that satisfactory water quality has been restored for the Village of Hines Creek as well as the East Prairie Metis Settlement.

East Prairie had been under an advisory since July 18, and the boil water advisory was issued for the Village of Hines Creek on July 29, 2022.

All residents and businesses connected to the distribution system can return to normal water consumption practices; boiling is no longer required.
