As a result of a tip, Beaverlodge RCMP located Harley Ferguson on June 25, 2021, and he was arrested for the warrants.  

Following a judicial hearing, Ferguson was remanded into custody and is scheduled to attend Grande Prairie Provincial Court on June 30, 2021.

As this matter is now before the courts, no further updates will be provided.

 

 

On June 12, 2021, Beaverlodge RCMP received a complaint of a shooting that had occurred in Horse Lake First Nations, Alta. Beaverlodge RCMP’s investigation resulted in an arrest, and charges against two individuals.

An interaction occurred between a suspect male and female and a 27-year-old male wherein shots were fired and the 27-year-old male was injured. The male and female suspects fled the residence. The injured male was taken to hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and later released from hospital.

Beaverlodge RCMP arrested 23-year-old female, Stacey Horseman and she is jointly charged with a 32-year-old male, Harley Percy Ferguson, both of Horse Lake First Nations, with:

·         Possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous

·         Attempted murder with a firearm

·         Unauthorized possession of a firearm

·         Careless use of a firearm

Stacey Horseman is additionally charged with:

·         Discharge firearm with intent

Harley Ferguson is additionally charged with:

·         Possession of a firearm while prohibited

·         Fail to comply with release order

Following a judicial hearing, Stacey Horseman was remanded into custody to attend Grande Prairie Provincial Court on June 16, 2021, to speak to bail.

Beaverlodge RCMP have been unable to locate Harley Ferguson and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.

·         5’10” tall

·         181 lbs

·         Black hair

·         Brown eyes

·         Indigenous
