The Town of Beaverlodge is modifying operations to ensure public and staff safety while continuing to provide services during the response to COVID-19.

Starting today, March 23, access to the Town of Beaverlodge Office will be limited. Residents and businesses are encouraged to do business with the Town online or by phone. Access to the Town Office will be allowed by appointment only, please call 780-354-2201 to schedule an appointment or to talk with staff.

Council Chambers will be open to the public for Regular Council Meetings. Strict social distancing and hygiene protocols, as outlined by Alberta Health Services (AHS) will be in place.

Municipal services will continue to be delivered, with alternative delivery options in place for most services and programs. These measures will be in place until further notice.

As previously stated in the Medica Release, dated March 17, 2020 the following facilities remain closed “to the public”:

  • The Beaverlodge Public Library
  • The Beaverlodge Recreation Facility
  • Public Works Shop
  • Water Treatment Plant
  • FCSS Program

All essential services will remain operational during the closure. There will not be a disruption in the services Public Works, or the Water Treatment Plant.
