King’s Kids at the Oasis Ministry in Grande Prairie is inviting parents of special needs and their families to a Back-to-School event this Saturday, August 21st from 1pm to 4pm at the church.
Parents and their children with special needs will be able to learn more about King’s Kids and receive free school supplies for their special needs child and siblings. As well, they will have free haircuts and braiding for girls, donated by local hairstylists and barbershops.
King’s Kids has been around for a couple of years and happens every Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Oasis Church in downtown Grande Prairie. The evening includes a free supper and available time in the sensory rooms. Siblings are welcome and parents are invited to drop off their children or to stay and connect with other parents.
