The City of Grande Prairie announced today some additional availabilities at the Eastlink Centre, starting March 1. The change is in response to client requests and still in line with the provincial health regulations.

Starting March 1, bookings are available for the following amenities:

Fieldhouse

  • Limited weeknight bookings will be available for members of the same household
  • $34.87 per booking
  • Online registration for these spots opens on Friday, Feb. 26
  • Non-household bookings for one-on-one coaching please contact bookings@eastlinkcentre.ca

Pool

  • Private household swimming lessons
  • Monday – Friday (lesson sets run for 5 consecutive days) March 8 – 12, March 15 – 19, March 22- 26 and March 29 - April 1 * 4 classes with prorated price
  • Timeslots available between 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Private lessons (1:1): $125/ 5 classes
  • Semi-private lessons (2:1 from the same household): $187.50/ 5 classes
  • Please note that if your child is below the age of 8 OR in a Swimmer 2 or lower, an adult (from the same household) is always required in the water to assist while instructor practices physical distancing
  • All swimmers age 8 and older (in Swimmer 3 and up) will participate in the water while the Instructor is out of water for physical distancing
  • Access to the facility will be through the South Entrance, 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson time
  • Participants must come swim ready and proceed directly to their lesson; changerooms will be available for use after the lesson
  • Additional spectators are not permitted at this time
  • Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their most recent swimming report card to their first lesson for referral, if possible
  • Online registration for these spots opens on Monday, March 1 at 12:00 a.m.
