Over the weekend, three more people recovered from COVID-19 in the City of Grande Prairie, leaving two active cases and totaling 93 recoveries.  

There was no change in the County which has 11 active cases and 49 recoveries.  

County of Northern Lights had one new case reported and three people recover. Mackenzie County had eight new cases and five recoveries. Clear Hills County had one recovery, leaving just one active case.  

Region totals: 

Provincially, 436 cases were found over the weekend, from over 51,000 tests. There were 60 on Sept. 25, 184 on Sept. 26 and 162 on Sept. 27. 

Alberta has now tested over one million residents. As of Sunday, 1,001,638 Albertans had been tested. In total, there’s been 1,320,550 tests completed.  

Four more Albertans died over the weekend, bring the total to 265. 

Hospitalizations went up by seven to 63, with 15 in intensive care, one more than Thursday.
