There have been 133 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the province since yesterday from 8,975 tests, for an active total of 1,430. There are 8,983 recoveries, 97 of which are new.  

One more person has contracted COVID-19 in the City of Grande Prairie and two have recovered. There are eight active cases and 24 recoveries. In the County, one person has recovered, leaving seven active with 14 recoveries.  

Three people have recovered in Clear Hills County. They now have six active and 18 recoveries. The County of Northern Lights has one new case, with two active and three recoveries. The MD of Spirit River has its first cases with two active.  

Mackenzie County continues to see high cases numbers compared with the area. They have 12 new cases and four new recoveries. They have 57 active cases, 75 recoveries and one death. On their outbreak list, Alberta Health has listed family gatherings in La Crete.

Currently, 87 people in the province are in the hospital with 17 of these in intensive care. Three more people have died, for a total of 190 deaths related to the virus.
