Some positive news for a change on the jobs front in Alberta.  Stats Canada says we gained 28,000 jobs in May. That's a big turn around from a drop of 361-thousand jobs from February to April.

The job increases in Alberta were entirely driven by the service sector, after the province allowed some businesses such as restaurants and hair salons to start reopening May 14.  However the unemployment rate has jumped by 2.1 percentage points to 15.5 per cent, leaving us second highest in the country.
