In Alberta today (Nov. 13), 907 new cases of COVID-19 are being reported and 614 recoveries. 

There are now 8,593 active cases in the province, with 28,321 total recoveries.  

Five more Albertans have died, for a total of 398. Right now, 240 people are in the hospital with COVID-19, with 54 in intensive care. This is 15 more hospitalizations and three more ICU admissions than yesterday. Eight of the current hospitalizations are in the North Zone, with three people in intensive care.  

In Grande Prairie, five new cases were added today, and nine people recovered from the virus. There are now 84 active cases and 287 recoveries. 

The outbreak at the Grande Prairie Walmart has been declared over. Outbreaks are declared over when four weeks have passed with no new cases. 

In the County of Grande Prairie, two people recovered for an active total of 20 with 102 recoveries. 

Saddle Hills County and the MD of Lesser Slave River each identified three new cases of COVID-19. Mackenzie County added one new case. The MD of Peace had nine new cases confirmed, plus two people recovered, bringing their active total to 40. The MD of Greenview added six cases today and had one person recover. One person also recovered in the MD of Fairview.
