Due to the high voter turn out at the Advance Voting last Friday and Saturday, the voting station is being MOVED from City Hall to Teresa Sargent Hall at Montrose Culture Centre. 

Advance voting is available on Friday, October 15, & Saturday, October 16 from 11am to 7pm. To vote, please bring photo ID with current Grande Prairie address. 

Grande Prairie residents can vote for:

• 1 Mayor

• Up to 8 Councillors

• Up to 7 Public School Board Trustees

• Up to 5 Separate School Board Trustees Ward 1

To vote in the City of Grande Prairie Municipal Election you must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, a resident of the City of Grande Prairie on October 18, 2021, and bring acceptable ID to the voting location. A list of acceptable ID as well as more about the election, candidates, and where to vote, is available at www.cityofgp.com/election

Grande Prairie residents will also cast their ballot for the Senate Election and two Referendum questions. The Senate Election and Referendum questions are posed by the Government of Alberta and are not affiliated with the City of Grande Prairie.
