The City of Grande Prairie is actively monitoring the evolving COVID-19 pandemic and is taking precautionary measures to prevent spread and prepare for the possibility of a confirmed case in our community.

The health, safety, and wellbeing of our residents and community is our priority.

The City has a business continuity plan to ensure core services including emergency services and transit continue to operate.

Here is a list of current changes to services, events and programming:

Montrose Cultural Centre including Teresa Sargent Hall, Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, and the Grande Prairie Public Library
Heritage Discovery Centre
Grande Prairie Museum
Ernie Radbourne Pavillion in Muskoseepi Park
The Leisure Centre
Revolution Place Arena
Dave Barr Arena (the daycare in the community centre continues to operate)

The Eastlink Centre and Coca Cola Centre will be closed to the public until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19. We are working to fully refund any cancellations and suspend memberships.

The following events have been postponed at Revolution Place: Gord Bamford, “Tales from the Penalty Box” Storm Fundraiser, Rodney Carrington, Northern Rhythm Music Festival, and Baby Shark. Fans are encouraged to retain their tickets until the new dates are announced. If a refund is preferred, please contact the Revolution Place Box Office.

The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination event has been cancelled.
