The Activity and Reception Centre is temporarily closed to public drop-in access as the facility prepares to shelter a potential influx of additional NWT wildfire evacuees.

The recreational facility was built and designed to be multi-purpose and function as an emergency response centre if necessary. It is being utilized for this activation of GPREP due to current hotel capacity levels.
