Saturday, June 12, the intersection of 100 Street and 84 Avenue will be closed for approximately 6 hours to accommodate paving as part of the City’s road rehabilitation program.

The closure is anticipated to start at 6:00am to avoid major traffic disruptions and be reopened by 12:00pm.

North and southbound vehicle flow will be maintained through single lane alternating traffic. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south, while westbound traffic will be detoured north. The 84 Avenue truck route between Resources Road and 108 Street will be closed for the day. The City’s transit Route 3 will proceed as normal, with a maximum wait time of five minutes.

The maximum speed limit will be reduced to 30km/h and drivers are reminded to drive with caution, obey all posted signage, and follow the direction of flag persons if present. For more information on planned projects, visit the City’s website.
