The City of Grande Prairie is hosting information sessions for residents residing in the Rural Service Area. Two online information sessions occur on May 25 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

At the sessions, attendees will learn about how the City plans to accommodate the rural lands in the City’s Land Use Bylaw. It is currently regulated by the County Land Use Bylaw as part of annexation agreements in 2016.

To accomplish this, the amendments will include the addition of some new uses, standards, and districts to the bylaw so that these properties maintain the same development rights.
