For the third year in a row, MORGUARD OWNED -PRAIRIE MALL proudly joins forces with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) to celebrate the uniqueness of every girl across Canada with the national BeYou campaign from September 17- 23, 2018, with FREE events and programming at Prairie Mall, 11801 100 Street. This year’s campaign will also include national ambassadors from the hit Disney and Family Channel show “Backstage” - Madison MacGregor, Alyssa Trask and Devyn Nekoda. The three actresses will be featured in the campaign’s national BeYou video which will appear online and be screened across all Morguard malls and BeYou events across Canada in September. The trio will be featured in the video to help promote the idea of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth through their real-life stories about overcoming their own personal challenges in hopes to inspire the young girls who look up to them.
Imagine a society where girls grow up with endless self-confidence, self-esteem and pride in celebrating their diversity and individuality. This is a world that Morguard believes in, and wants girls and women of all ages to believe in for themselves. With a majority of their shoppers being female, Morguard wanted to send an inspiring message to young women to make them feel empowered again - that’s how BeYou was born. Morguard’s collaboration with BBBS allows the campaign to impact women directly through specialized programming and mentorship, and strengthen ties in the community for lasting long-term impact. The 2018 BeYou program will feature FREE interactive activations and events at 20 Morguard malls across the country, including Prairie Mall, with empowering programs designed to help increase self-esteem, personal growth and self-worth in young women.

“Prairie Mall is very proud to bring back the BeYou campaign once again in hopes of reaching out to even more young girls in Grande Prairie with this inspiring message. We want to encourage them to express themselves and reach for the stars,” says Kristin Hurtubise, Marketing Director for Prairie Mall. “BeYou encourages and empowers girls to celebrate their individuality and realize that they do not need to limit their goals. They can become doctors, lawyers, teachers, designers, architects, athletes, landscapers, horticulturists, make-up artists, dancers - anything they want to be!”
