GRANDE PRAIRIE RCMP ON SCENE OF COLLISION HIGHWAY -(UPDATE #1)

Grande Prairie, Alberta – At approximately 6:24 pm RCMP, along with fire services and EMS, attended a two vehicle collision on Highway 40 at township road 710.

A cleaning crew is still on scene but traffic is now moving.

All possible contributing factors related to this collision are being considered and the collision remains under investigation.

Grande Prairie, Alberta – Grande Prairie RCMP rural members are currently on scene of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of highway 40 and township 710. Traffic is currently being diverted as a crew is cleaning up an oil spill, and a delay of at least an hour is expected.

A semi-tanker truck and a pickup truck were involved in the collision. The 43-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the semi-tanker truck was not injured.
